I'm Olivia the lady behind the camera. Wife to my patient husband, mum to my two wild children, one wolf and one crazy spaniel aaaand a small selection of ducks and chickens.
It is a pretty good idea to have a nose at the person who is going to document one of the most important days of your life. So let's see if we gel, as I believe the relationship you have with your photographer is so, so important. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed so that I am able to capture you being YOU!
Most of my wedding couples say they feel like they have known me years and I just slot into their day like an old friend or family member and I want you to feel the same. I am not just here to take photos - think of me as an extra bridesmaid or groomsman. I am here for the pre-wedding advice, a helping hand on the day and definitely there dancing the night away capturing those mad dance floor moves.

PREVIOUS LIFE...
Before the wedding world took over, I was a Biomedical Scientist in the Army, followed by teaching Chemistry — so yeah, I’m pretty handy with shining shoes and wrangling people for those sparkler shots.
But it was family life that got me back behind the lens. I wanted to capture every fleeting moment, every memory. Then, a very brave family member saw my photos and asked if I could shoot their wedding... and that’s when things got real.
I can’t even begin to explain how much I love what I do. Photography isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to be part of the most epic day of someone’s life. The joy of sharing my passion with people and freezing those moments forever is an absolute thrill. I can honestly say, I’m never looking back — I’ve found the career I was meant for.
SPARE TIME...
I am usually outdoors with my family conquering some Derbyshire hill at 3 year old pace, teaching my 5 year old how to use his Polaroid or we are all in the kitchen making something yummy.
And lastly I LOVE a good film or series and take massive inspiration from what I watch. Colour and lighting are so evocative, they can change the viewers mood and emotion.
I am a massive underdog story fan and geek out on Star Wars, Disney, Stranger Things and Dune. I am recurrently watching the Deadpool collection because who doesn't love ridiculous humour and a good old fashioned love story.
So in honour to the cinematography gods, I pride myself on always learning new ways to work with light and colour and my goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that you will cherish forever.
